By midnight, the chasm closed, silent forevermore. Only the vibrant whisky distilled that day remains to tell the tale.Today, standing on the heather fields buffeted by winds surrounding the Cardhu distillery, the lush green lilac gardens believe in the truth of Cardhu's original name, 'black rock', Carn Dubh. From this magnificent hill, the Cardhu distillery has developed with an unmistakable allure. From its iconic red door, the distillery has welcomed passersby for centuries, inviting them with a vibrant, crisp whisky with the sweet flavors of Scotland's orchards.Here, finished in Jamaican Rum casks, a vibrant tropical sweetness is awakened. The golden color competes with a smooth texture, as the intense sweet aroma of pink grapefruit and ripe mango tantalizes the nose. On the palate, the sweet hard candy flavor of the rum delivers a dry, peculiar fragrance of spiced pineapple and green banana. Bursting with fresh aromas – a whisky with flavors of paradise.
