According to our legend, a captivating witch once lived deep within the emerald caves of River Ord. Powerful and enchanting, she could make the water dance to her command. As each winter solstice approached, she would fix her diamond-bright gaze upon the river, weaving its currents into rich, intoxicating ruby red wine. As they flowed through the waters of The Singleton, these mesmerizing currents imparted a sweet and alluring quality to The Singleton, enchanting as the ritual of the ruby solstice.Chasing the riverbank beside The Singleton of Glen Ord, the tale of strange enchantment carries weight. The only remaining Single Malt distillery on the Black Isle, the wonder of this whisky lies in its rich, layered flavor. Masterfully crafted slowly has long been the key; allowing each stage from malt to maturation to unfold in its own time, resulting in a liquid that is balanced, smooth, and alluring. This rare expression captivates with its luxurious character, refined over eight years in cask. The glass sparkles with deep amber light. The aroma of red wine, oak spice, and fruit creates an equally compelling allure, while the sweetness of barley sugar is balanced by salt and crisp bilberry, resonating with a smooth, rich melody. Super smooth throughout, the palate is enchanting with a final note of pepper, like a seductive kiss of smooth spice.
