As one of the oldest aged whiskies in the collection, Dalwhinnie 30 years is distilled in the highlands with a mere total of 6,978 bottles. This rugged terrain provides Dalwhinnie with cold, pure water, determining its distinctive flavor and perfect quality. The long fermentation process, distilled over three decades from casks that have aged multiple times, results in a 30-year-old Dalwhinnie with a strength of 51.9% ABV reaching perfect peaks. The first impression is the light, ethereal aroma of wild meadow flowers and dried herbs, immediately evoking the image of a desolate hillside surrounded by towering mountains. Following is the sweetness of baked butter along with the smoothness of sea salt, harmoniously combined with the smoky scent spreading in the palate.
