Dubbed the “Queen of Speyside Single Malt,” the 14-year-old Cardhu is aged in thick Amontillado sherry casks for a rich, pungent taste.
Part of the unique collection “Diageo’s Special Releases 2019” with a very limited quantity of only 4,860 bottles worldwide. The name Cardhu comes from the Gaelic word Carn Dubh which means "Black Stone" - meaning good luck and happiness. The 14-year-old Cardhu is also distinguished by its elegant box, which blends with the noble amber color, providing a unique beauty. The initial aromas of grapes, pears and cherries remind you of the cool northeastern summer of Scotland. Each fruit flavor blends together harmoniously and flows into the throat to bring a sweet aroma like lily of the valley mixed with a little vanilla ice cream, and finally a pungent and dry but pleasant taste on the tongue.
