Straightforward and candid, classic yet still modern, Talisker 8 Y.O is precisely the sea monster of single malt whisky, roaring with fire from its very nature.

The first aroma hints at sweetness, but will quickly reveal a tempestuous character. Notes from the single malt swiftly give way to the richer scents of the open sea like seaweed, salt, and iodine. A soft, graceful texture and a smooth sensation dominate, exuding a fragrant blend of salty and the characteristic peat smoke of the Isle of Skye.

WINE TASTING NOTES:

Nose: The initial sweet aroma combined with the maritime characteristics typical of Talisker, followed by scents of grains along with seaweed and iodine salt. A little water will enhance the scent of the sea.

Palate: Deliciously fragrant, salty and slightly sweet, mingled with the flavor of peat smoke.

Finish: Long, warm, with a smoky residue lingering in the aftertaste.
