Port Ellen 1979 impresses with its bold spicy smoky flavor combined with unique herbal notes. Distilled from one of the last oak casks from 1979 over a continuous 40 years, Port Ellen 1979 has become an aged flavor, representing the legendary Port Ellen distillery. Even master blender Jim Beveridge admitted he could not accurately discern the difference in this flavor when he first visited Port Ellen in the 1980s.
