Lagavulin 8 years old was first released in 2016, to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the famous Lagavulin distillery in the Islands.
High proof – 48% – is an advantage of Lagavulin 8. Young, wild, powerful, and explosive peat. Overall extremely impressive: a soft, sweet flavor that quickly disappears and is filled with a literal warmth. Your tongue will quickly go numb with spices and a fruity alcohol flow, moist peat, sea salt, and a mineral balance with caramel in the mouth. Absolutely worth experiencing!
