Born on the edge of the plateau near the coastal region, Oban possesses the characteristics of both lands, inadvertently becoming the bridge connecting the distinctive flavors of the highlands and the sea.

Breaking away from all conventional standards, Oban 12 Y.O is unique due to its special natural flavor, aged in charred American oak barrels. The sea aroma comes first, with a combination of seaweed, salt, and black pepper. The smooth and soft flavor coats the palate with sweet citrus notes, balanced with the saltiness of the salt and a lingering spiciness that is not overwhelming from the new charred barrels.

WINE TASTING NOTES:

Aroma: Distinctive maritime aroma that is unmistakable, from seaweed to salt and black pepper.

Taste: Smooth with a light sweet fruit flavor from orange and tangerine, balanced by a hint of salt in the middle of the palate, but not overpowering the spicy note from the fresh peat. All of this creates a wonderful balancing effect between wood and fresh fruit.

Finish: Quite long, ending with a spicy pepper note.
