Referred to as the “Genius of Dufftown,” with a sturdy and angular bottle shape, along with a dark masculine and elegant brown color, Mortlach is the most intriguing enigma in the Scotch whisky product lines. Mortlach has a unique distillation process of 2.81 times (compared to the usual 2 times) creating a whiskey with a rich flavor combined with 26 years of aging in two types of oak barrels, giving Mortlach 26 years old its outstanding flavor.

The mystery and arrogance of the genius first comes from the scent of old oak, leather covered by a thin layer of toffee candy and coffee beans, and on the outside is the aroma of purple plum fruit, making Mortlach both sweetly enticing with dried fruit, honey flavors, and bold with notes of clove, roasted meat, and the tannic bitterness of oak barrels. The final spiciness, combined with the rich fruit flavor, creates an elegant, lingering finish. This rare special edition has only 3,883 bottles distributed worldwide.
