According to our legend, a seductive witch once lived deep within the emerald caves of the River Ord. Powerful and alluring, she could make the water dance at her command. As each winter solstice approached, she would fix her diamond-like gaze upon the river, and weave its flows into rich and captivating ruby red wine. As they flow through The Singleton's waterways, these enchanting currents have imbued The Singleton with a sweet and captivating character, as enchanting as the ritual of the ruby solstice.
Following the riverbank alongside The Singleton of Glen Ord, the story of this exotic enchantment takes on weight. The only remaining Single Malt distillery on the Black Isle, the magic of this whisky lies in its profound, layered flavors. The slow, masterful crafting has long been key; allowing each stage from malting to maturation to unfold according to its time, so that the liquid is balanced, smooth, and alluring. This rare expression enchants with its luxurious character, refined over eight years in casks. The glass gleams with a deep amber hue. Aromas of red wine, oak spice, and fruit create an equally captivating allure, while the sweetness of barley sugar is balanced by salt and crisp gooseberry, resonating with a smooth, rich voice.
