Pittyvaich 29-year-old – a rare and oldest edition from the Pittyvaich distillery, which closed in 1993 after only 18 years of operation. Aged for nearly three decades in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks, Pittyvaich 29 garnered much attention and high praise upon its debut in the “Special Release 2019 – Rare by Nature” collection. All these elements combine to create the maturity of Pittyvaich single malt whisky.
The first impression is a shimmering amber color with a delicate yet intensely sweet aroma of fruit and dried flowers, stemming from the natural aging process. Slowing down, you'll taste the sweetness of golden grapes, followed by a lingering spicy hint of ginger powder on the palate. With only 4,976 bottles sold worldwide, Pittyvaich 29-year-old delivers a rare golden melody.
