The aroma of burnt wood rises, intertwined with the delicate scent of wine and flaxseed oil, followed by seaweed, figs, toffee, and then the characteristic pungent, smoky notes of Lagavulin. A sip reveals a subtly elegant taste before everything descends into a dense, sea-like labyrinth.
TASTING NOTES:
Aroma: A rich, sea-inspired flavor with multiple layers. It begins with sea air and Himalayan salt, combined with the smoky notes of Lapsang Souchong tea and mineral salts. This is followed by dry notes of cocoa powder and dried seaweed.
Taste: The texture is smooth and lightly creamy; the flavor starts sweet and then quickly expands with a strong acidity of lemon, a hint of sea salt, and a smoky undertone. The overall balance of salt and sweetness is rounded, smooth, and sweetened with a touch of water.
Finish: Long, with a strong smoky and spicy aftertaste. The smoke lingers beautifully in the aftertaste. The sensation is more pronounced with a little water.
