The fifth edition in the award-winning Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare limited edition series, Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare Port Dundas, explores the characteristics of exceptional and rare whiskies from one of the world's most renowned Grain Whisky distilleries, the Glasgow Ghost Distillery in Port Dundas.
The Johnnie Walker team of professional whisky makers, led by Johnnie Walker's Mastercist, Dr. Emma Walker, carefully selected the most exceptional expressions of mature Port Dundas whisky for this new limited edition.
To further enhance the aromatic woody spice character of Port Dundas, Emma and her team hand-selected two other 'ghost' whiskies from the Cambus and Brora distilleries before blending them with other very rare Scotch whiskies from five iconic distilleries to create something truly special.
The creamy woody notes of Port Dundas envelop the vanilla and subtle smoke from the Cambus 'ghost' whisky and the classic Brora whisky. Other very rare whiskies from Cameronbridge and Glenkinchie add hints of spiced apple, along with Clynelish, Dailuaine, and Auchroisk, which bring aromas of peach and berries.
