John Walker & Sons XR 21 Years Old is a rare Blended Scotch whisky masterpiece, created to celebrate Sir Alexander Walker II (grandson of the founder Johnnie Walker) being knighted by King George V in 1920.
The XR 21 line is blended based on Sir Alexander's handwritten notes, using whiskies aged for a minimum of 21 years from Johnnie Walker's exclusive reserves, including rare casks from now-defunct silent distilleries such as Brora. The Lunar New Year (CNY) edition features unique gift box and bottle designs, often in collaboration with Asian artists, symbolizing prosperity and a good start. The whisky is crafted through an extremely rare three-stage blending process.
