Dalwhinnie 30 Year Old is the oldest whisky in the “Special Releases 2019 – Rare by Nature” collection. The prolonged fermentation process, distilled over three decades in barrels that have aged many times, results in a Dalwhinnie 30 Year Old with a perfect peak ABV of 54.7%.
The first impression is the aroma of summer fruits like apricots and raisins, immediately evoking images of wild hills surrounded by rolling mountains. Following this are the sweet notes of heather, hazelnut, and almond, along with the richness of sea salt, harmoniously combined with a smoky flavor that melts in the mouth. The deep golden color of the whisky, combined with the elegant blue pattern of the box, enhances the sophistication of this fine whisky. Only 7,586 bottles of the Dalwhinnie 30-year-old edition were distributed worldwide.
