Characteristics: Bottled at natural cask strength of 55.7%, unchilled and without added food coloring, preserving the original, rich, and most complex flavors from the aging cask.
Taste:
Aroma: Complex and refined with notes of garden fruits (green apple, pear), sweet malt, honey, hints of floral and herbal notes, and a very subtle, sophisticated smoky undertone.
Taste: Full-bodied and rounded on the palate. The sweetness of malt, fruit, and vanilla is balanced by a light spiciness from spices (ginger, white pepper) and a touch of characteristic minerality. The wine has a good structure and depth.
Finish: Long, warm, and slightly dry, leaving a lingering aftertaste of malt, fruit, and a hint of spicy oak.
