Familia Montaña honours the Montaña family, whose roots trace back to the origins of the modern Rioja wine industry in the late 19th century, consolidated as a family business by Román Montaña in 1920 in the medieval cellars beneath Haro. Today his grandson Oscar Montaña oversees an estate of over 270 acres across Rioja Alta and Alavesa, including a notable share of the rare Graciano grape.

Graciano Finca La Marquesita 2014 is a single-vineyard wine made from 100% Graciano, aged 24 months in French oak followed by a further 24 months in bottle.
